The Role

 

We are looking for a Production Controller to manage end-to-end production planning and coordination. This role is critical in ensuring efficient operations through effective scheduling, resource optimisation, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will play a key role in balancing production demand with capacity while maintaining high standards of quality, cost control, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and manage production schedules to meet customer demand
  • Oversee daily production operations and ensure smooth execution
  • Align capacity with materials, labour, and machinery availability
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material flow
  • Track production performance and report on key KPIs
  • Implement and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Collaborate with Sales, Purchasing, and Engineering teams
  • Manage project timelines, resources, and delivery milestones
  • Troubleshoot production issues in coordination with Engineering
  • Drive continuous improvement in productivity, cost, and quality

What We’re Looking For

✅ Experience & Knowledge

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in production planning, operations, or manufacturing
  • Experience working with ERP systems

✅ Qualifications

  • Higher Nitec / Diploma in Engineering, Production, or related field
  • Exposure to manufacturing or mechanical engineering environments (desirable)

✅ Skills & Attributes

  • Strong analytical skills (production cycle time, costs, inventory)Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in English for business communication, documentation, and system usage.
  • Ability to communicate in additional local language(s) is an advantage.
  • Willingness to perform ad hoc task as assigned.
