A LOLER inspection ensures that lifting equipment is safe to use, in compliance with the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998..
LOLER inspections are required every six months for lifting equipment used to lift people and every 12 months for other lifting equipment.
LOLER covers any lifting equipment, including cranes, hoists, lifts, and any accessories used for lifting such as chains, slings, or hooks.
LOLER inspections must be performed by a 'competent person' with the necessary knowledge, experience, and qualifications in lifting equipment safety
If equipment fails, it must be repaired or replaced before it can be used again. A re-inspection may be needed to ensure compliance
We provide a full inspection, parts replacement, upgrades to key systems, and reassembly with safety checks
Non-compliance can result in legal action, fines, and increased risk of accidents, potentially leading to injury or damage.
